Lunch at Koreana II on Preston

by Adam Smith » Wed Nov 03, 2010 3:05 pm

Since they're only about a mile away from me now, I finally tried it. I had the bi bim bop, veggies with beef and a fried egg, and it was sooo good. Came with steamed rice and miso soup. I believe it was 8.95 or 9.95 but well worth the price, it was a very large bowl and once I added this and that from the tray of condiments it was quite a large meal. I'll definitely be back to try more things... maybe tomorrow!

If you'd like to try another Korean place, try Lee's in Bishop Lane Plaza. His stone bee bim bop is divine - perfect on a cold winter day. I've been to Seoul and eaten plenty of authentic Korean food - Lee's is the real deal!

We also love Korean restaurants, we usually go to Koreana because it's cloer but both are excellent. Our standard order is Yaki Mandu for an app, then we order Bulgogi and Chop Chae and spit them. It's quite the feast, especially with the small dishes of kimchee. My favorites are the spinach, radish and cucumbers. Yum! Sounds like dinner....
