Indiana: Now serving alcoholic beverages on Election Day.

by Roger A. Baylor » Tue Nov 02, 2010 9:39 am

A reminder: The law in Indiana changed earlier this year, and your favorite libation IS AVAILABLE today before the polls close.

NABC hours: The Pizzeria & Public House opens at 11:00 a.m., and Bank Street Brewhouse opens at 2:00 p.m.

Have an Elector before you vote. It's the perfect calisthenic.

So, vote early and drink often ... or was it the other way around?

It would make some of the choices a bit easier!

This year it would have helped alot... I kept looking over the ballot sheet for a little circle that said 'None of the above - do over', but never could find it.

The guy turning in his ballot ahead of me summed it up perfectly - when the lady pulling the tabs off by the counting machine told him 'thanks for voting!' he replied with 'I'm pretty sure I need to go home and shower now'...

The pours and calzone that I had definitely quelled the filth from completely covering me.

I do wish that I could have forwarded a memo to the chef, though. Roasted garlic != chopped raw garlic. :|

Michael, was that at our place? If so, I'll mention it to the girls today.

It was, Roger. I stopped by Sportstime around 1:30; I was confused at first because I didn't think white onion had become a part of the calzone equation. The artichoke was also on the tough side, but all of the other ingredients were cooked to perfection. My palate can handle undercooked garlic...my stomach, however, usually decides to revolt. I should have mentioned it on my way out yesterday, but I had to rush back to the home of the first Tea Party senator...double

The artichokes get like that some times, but the garlic should not have been that way. I'll investigate. Thanks.
