This is great.

I remember one time when I was server at Vincenzo's having a party of three- two very lovely ladies and a very drunk man- who disappeared to the restroom to pass out. The bill came and the ladies had no money and had just met the guy. We could not wake the guy up and as we looked for an ID in his wallet so we would know where to send the body, we also noticed he had no cash or credit cards. I cannot remember exactly how that huge bill was paid for.

Stuff like this is why I check this forum daily. I don't always have the greatest recall for the "industry's most memorable, but in this case, one occasion surfaces. A night with frequenters, their party, their rules, (none else liingering late in the evening), and I liked them a lot. Should have siezed the bar top dancing, but it would have been so unfair from a girl guilty of such similar history, most of you have acted a fool, too. Anyway, despite my cool acceptance, I distrusted every angle of this display because it was my watch. Much later down the road I was phone quizzed about the events of that evening, and in case it needs uppercase spelling, a lawsuit ensued between members of the group. I KNEW something was weird and they were capitol Drunk.

I have been the drunk patron before. It wasn't pretty.

After that night I learned to never let the server pour my wine for me because...well...if it is in my glass I think I should drink it.

Will,

I would guess you never have that problem in Westport, especially during
boating season. LOL

James,
Actually we do okay with that. I did have a very rich guy expose himself to his girlfriend at a table. Unfortunately a lot of other people saw it too. He got very offended when I asked him to keep his pants on. He stormed out of the place vowing never to return. He has not been back but the 9 others that were with him that night have.
