Lots of forumite bylines in LEO Dining Guide

by Robin Garr » Fri Oct 15, 2010 12:03 pm

I'm a day or two late getting this up, but better late than never: The Annual LEO Dining Guide is on the streets this week, and it's worth picking up a hardcopy to keep handy for its restaurant lists and articles.

Here's a link to the online edition:

Quite a few of those articles were penned by Forumites. For your handy reference, here's the lead story by Marsha, profiling the executive chef at the new toaster oven, er, arena:

Manning the world's largest toaster oven
Executive Chef Sean Kavanaugh pushes all the buttons at Louisville’s shiniest new appliance

Eve Lee had three articles about local arts and literary luminaries and their food-and-drink tales:

Ed Hamilton enjoys life’s highs and lows with his family by his side
http://leoweekly.com/dining/dining-guid ... y-his-side

Ron Whitehead talks about free spirits, his namesake liquor and speeding in reverse with the king of Gonzo
http://leoweekly.com/dining/dining-guid ... eeding-rev

Todd Brashear on the restaurateur next door and the meal that just may have saved him
http://leoweekly.com/dining/dining-guid ... -saved-him

Finally, your humble scribe wrapped things up with a quick overview of some great meatless dishes at meatful eateries around town:

Herbocrite seeks veggie enlightenment: Creative veggie dishes at local restaurants
In LEO's Dining Guide:

And on LouisvilleHotBytes.com:

Other good stuff by good buddies Kevin Gibson and Christian Walsh, but since they don't spend time in the forum, I'll point you to the LEO top Dining Guide page again:
