is an understatment. My new fav! This was followed by a shared funghi flatbread pizza. All accompanied by a bottle of smooth Sangiovese with touches of fruit, spice and oak. Next we shared an exquisite tiramisu, most beautifully garnished with a sugar rose. (I don't think any restaurant in Louisville comes close to Volare in the Italian dessert department.) The evening ended with a small glass of Fernet Branca. I'd write more, but I need to sit and quietly gloat about a perfect evening meal.
