Crafted in Kentuckiana (Beer fest)

With Robin's approval I just wanted to let everyone know about the beer festival on Saturday October 16th from 3-7pm on the River front lawn behind King Fish on River Road (off Zorn Ave).

Kentuckiana crafted beers from Alltech/Kentucky Ale, Bluegrass Brewing Company, Browning's Brewpub, Cumberland Brews, Falls City Beer, Hofbrauhaus Newport and New Albanian Brewing Co.

Cost is $5 for the mug
$1 (1 ticket) for a taste
$5 (5 tickets) for a 12oz pour

Food will be available by King Fish on the patio. Cash bar will be open for those who prefer spirits and of course there will be MUSIC. We will also have pint glasses and t-shirts available for sale. This is planned to be an annual fall event!

Hope some Foodies will come out for an early evening of festivities.
This is to benefit the Kentucky Restaurant Association.

Thanks for posting Kurt! I have a list of some of the beers that will be at Crafted in Kentuckiana:

BBC will serve Rye 75, BBC Wheat
Downtown BBC will have Bourbon Stout, APA & Nut Brown Ale
Browning's will have Helles
Cumberland Brews will have Cream Ale
New Albanian will serve Beak's Best & Bob's Old 15B
Alltech's serving Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale & Kentucky Light
Hofbrauhaus and Falls City will be there too!

Weather is supposed to be great - please stop by and enjoy!

Looks like it going to be a fabulous weekend for the Beer Fest at Kingfish. When everyone is done on river road, come downtown to Brownings for our Bison, Beer & blues event. We have Mick Sullivan and friends starting at 7 pm, so you don't have to choose between events. Looking forward to seeing lots of friends on saturday!

Hope to see lots of our hotbytes friends there Saturday! As a working mom I don't get "out" much on weekends or evenings, so I'm really looking forward to having fun while I'm working! I would love to meet many of you!
