Carly Rae's Sunday Nights!

by Allison Williams » Mon Jul 30, 2007 10:48 pm

Went to Carly Rae's on Sunday night and it was GREAT!!!! We didn't have dinner but experienced a few appetizers including their boneless Mango BBQ wings, but the reason I had such a wonderful time was because of the Music and Patio. I think their courtyard might be one of the best kept secrets in Louisville! Every Sunday evening starting at 6pm they have a bluegrass band and even if you are not a fan the whole combination was perfect. It was a great atmosphere and a wonderful way to end a lazy Sunday. I have not been to their brunch on Saturdays or Sundays yet but have heard it is quite delicious and actually rode my bike by there Sunday late morning and they had a nice crowd. Anyone had brunch there yet?

Hey Allison, thanks for coming down and seeing the show.I'm honored to give bluegrass musicians a place where they can come and play and have a good time.Hope this is appropriate Robin. If not just delete it :).

Old Louisville Express amazes me everytime I hear them. They will be back in a couple of weeks. Next week is the 7 piece Stone Hollow and on Aug. 19th C.I.A (Cast Iron Airplane) is going put on a show for us on the patio http://www.castironairplane.com .They are an all star band of great bluegrass musicians. On Sundays all Kentucky brewed beer is the price of domestics . Sorry it took me so long to respond.Busy busy busy lately.Thank you for the kind words.
