NO bacon!!

by David Clancy » Mon Oct 11, 2010 1:49 pm

So I get a Bacon Double Cheese, get it home and alas...NO BACON!! I felt so violated......THE HORROR!! Not naming names though but there is a famous race from Paris to Dakar and I think they call it a _____? Note to foodies, check your goods before you get home or you could suffer the same wretched fate that I did.

So, did you complain to the manager before posting a restaurant-bashing review here?

could be worse, if I actually did eat something even remotely "good" for me, I'd go into instant cardiac arrest......It's a trade off and bacon is worth it! I made a BLT this morning to compensate for the burger and I swear I heard applause coming from the pan.....

I concidered taking it back to that nameless establishment (that has 2 lines that you can rally right through) but figured I would just buck up and deal with it. Did make me sick to my stomach though just thinking of a burger sans the greatest invention since sliced bread. Next time I'm gonna point out how they robbed me of my satisfaction and get EXTRA BACON or else!!

I'll bet the bacon wasn't locally sourced, that's why they had to leave it off...

Quoting Joe Pesci from Lethal Weapon 2:

"They **** YOU at the drive-thru, okay? They **** YOU at the drive-thru! They know you're gonna be miles away before you find out you got ****ed! They know you're not gonna turn around and go back, they don't care."

i went thru the drive thru got home and was missing one of my side items that i paid for.
i called and they agreed to send someone to my home with it. yes i asked nicely and they agreed.
it wasn't worth me turning my engine and going all the way back to the establishment.
and i can't disclose the name of this establishment, because i had an agreement with management not to name them, or every customer who didn't get something that they paid for, and didn't receive it, would expect door to door service. :)
WOW!! Next time I'm calling those dudes with the checkered flags and see if they bring me my two slices of heaven! (I tell you what, if they do, I'll be eating at that (unmentionable) place every day. Nothing beats that kind of customer service!!! (except, of course, BACON!!)
