NABC's Fringe Fest & Bank St Brewhouse during HH in NA.

by Roger A. Baylor » Mon Oct 04, 2010 1:50 pm

This week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, NABC's Bank Street Brewhouse in downtown New Albany will host our third annual Fringe Fest of Art, Music, Beer and Food, as the booth days of Harvest Homecoming provide counterpoint a block away.

http://potablecurmudgeon.blogspot.com/2010/10/official-2010-fringe-fest-schedule.html

Note that during these three days, it isn't business as usual at BSB. The parking area is used for music and beer drinking, and while the usual seating area and patio are open as usual, Chef Lehman is not preparing the same menu as other times. Instead:

Duck Leg & Beans
Duck Fat Fringe Fries
Vegetarian Green Chile
And a few nightly specials to mix it up a bit.

If you'll be spending time in the fest area for music, you may wish to bring a camp chair of some sort.

Thanks

Hoping to make it tonight.

Glad you made it Matthew. It was nice to put a face to a name.

Also good to see Chef Dan.

Nice meeting you as well David. Nice event you guys put on. HH was a little too crowded for my tastes (that's what I get for going on Friday), so it was nice to find a just adequately crowded spot at NABC.

Here's the outlook for Fringe Fest Day 3:

http://cityofnewalbany.blogspot.com/2010/10/two-down-one-remaining-fringe-fest.html

Chef Josh has outdone himself with Fringe Food this year. Pork tacos were flying out last night, and there'll be short ribs from 3-D Valley Beef down the road in Depauw. Weather's perfect, music's been great, the crowd has been mellow, and, of course, locally brewed craft beer in abundance. Big thanks to everyone so far.

Man, what a ride.

Fringe Fest has ended, and we're back to Sunday business as usual. Harvest Homecoming booths are open today from noon until 5 pm, and the weather is once again superb.

Thanks to everyone who has patronized New Albany the past three days. My knees are killing me, but it is a good kind of hurt.
