Do your allergies rule out their shrimp and grits, Casey? It's really their signature dish, and it's wonderful!

But it's hard to find anything on the menu, including the burger, that's not good. Jack Fry's comes by its consistent four-star ratings the old-fashioned way. Usually they'll even have a vegetarian dish so good as to make meat-eaters consider going animal-free for the evening.

I really enjoy their lamb chops and if they are offering the beef short ribs as a special, get them. Fantastic! For vegatarians, the potato gratin rocks. I'm a big meat eater, but I get it frequently and it always satisfies.

No allergies, just a personal choice not to eat those items.

I had the filet tonight and it was great.

In this post, I had previously mentioned we had an issue with the service during our last visit. Through the power of HOT BYTES, I was contacted today by the general manager. I was impressed with how important it was to her that any experience at Jack Frys is a great one. Stephanie, if you see this I would like to thank you for your call and we will be returning soon for another visit.

I was at Jack Fry's for lunch twice last week, and it has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots. I would agree that the service can be spotty, but in general I think they are very attentive, and refill the glasses infinitely faster than many similarly-considered restaurants. I'm sure I'll be back next week for lunch and will pay attention to the service and report back!

Wanted to eat there SO bad last night, but on a TUESDAY IN AUGUST (almost anyway, and for those in any service biz locally, that word august is synonymous with "family vacay get away, leave the ville quite still." was told that I would not be seated until nine thirty, and this coupla ladies was too hungry! Had yet another life changing two hour episode at Basa, directly attributable to the masters of FOH ceremonies, "Steven (whom I aspire to be more akin to in every way) and Matthew, the greatest server I've ever had, no smoke blowin here, I SWEAR, he's that good. Many thanks to those in the industry that assist my enjoyment on a random weekday. Btw, scallops app, everyone should know how great they are. Jus my humble assertion.
