Back in May, Robin reported seeing a sign for "Wild Ginger Sushi and Fusion."

I hope you made the kitchen bigger. The old Cafe Metro line was the smallest I've ever worked. There are some pretty tight kitchen spaces in this town.

Dan,

It is still going to be a tight kitchen. We could not enlarge the kitchen or we would have lost seating. We have however added a Sushi Bar in the dining room. The rest of the building has been scrubbed clean, painted, new carpet, new seating, etc.

Tell us more, Scott! Any familiar names behind it or familiar faces going to be in the dining room?

Robin, all I can say is there is plenty of experience going into this Restaurant. I have done a few Japanese Restaurants for this customer. I have meet the new Chef and he comes with tons of experience as do the owners. The owners have been working on the menu and the fusion style cooking. We are trying to get this project wrapped up and open. Hopefully in the next few weeks…stay tuned!

Just give us the word first, Scott ... don't let us read it in the ch- ch- chain newspaper! ;)

Wild Ginger will be doing the “friends and family” tonight and opening to the general public on Monday. I will see if I can get a Menu and post it for you guys. Wild Ginger will be a great addition to the Louisville’s Dining Scene and I am happy to have been part of it.

Cheers,

I sure hope I don't read all about it in tomorrow's CJ, Scott ... just sayin' ...

Robin, I'm thinking you have overplayed LHB's value to the community. I mean, it's a foodie gathering spot, but that can't have much to offer to Louisville food businesses now, can it?
