Ewww..Gross!!

by Melissa S » Sun Sep 26, 2010 11:35 am

Yesterday my husband and I took our son and six of his friends to Frascelli's for dinner. On our way out I noticed a paper box/mouse trap on the floor right by the deli case. I asked one of the boys to look inside and his reaction was priceless..there was a dead mouse lying inside. I walked over and discreetly told the waitress who laughed and went over to check things out for herself. Okay, I like Frascelli's and I know mice happen, but this was in such an open and obvious area makes me think management thinks nothing of their "mouse problem". Not sure if I'll have the appetite to go back :(

Might just be a situation where no one had checked the trap yet that day. I'm sure if the management was aware of it they would have taken care of disposing of the offending critter.

I think they could of been a bit less obvious about it though. Maybe hide the trap with a plant or something. Seeing a dead mouse in the restaurant you just had a meal at is very unappetizing.

I think I'll send Rocket, our 20 lb Maine Coon cat, down there for a "job". He finds mice irresistible and tasty.

I have a 20 pound Coon as well, and as big and clumsy (vertically) as they are, they sure are fast when they spot a mouse! Or a chipmunk...

Hey hey hey! Even a mouse is entitled to a good meal!
Seriously I think it's because of overgrowth the immediate area and the building that's been going on around them chasing the mice from their natural homes. Well, that and the great smells coming from Fracelli's would lure in most anyone.
