CJ finally sets the record straight at Molly Malone's

by Robin Garr » Sat Mar 10, 2007 9:23 am

Long-time local foodies may recall that one of the darker moments of the CJ's dining coverage over recent years was an extremely negative and seemingly unfair trashing of Molly Malone's a few years ago, a review that it was hard to believe wasn't influenced by the former reviewer's friendship with a Malone's competitor.

Today, eating Irish in honor of St. Patrick's Day (coming up next weekend), Marty sets the record straight with a generally kind, fair 537-word report that picks a few appropriate nits, praises where it's called for, and comes down to a 2 1/2 star rating that seems about right.
