A very SPECIAL THANK YOU from PRIMO RESTAURANT

by Allison Williams » Fri Jul 27, 2007 1:11 am

I just wanted to give a special Thank You to the people who really made Primo Restaurant's Wine Picnic on July 25th an incredible event.

Giampaolo Cherubin provided our guests with a unique taste of Italy with some incredible Italian Wines as well as his generous hospitality. If you get a chance to meet him he is very enduring and will leave you with the warmest impression that is hard pressed to forget.

Dumante and their fabulous Pistachio liqueur. Troy Todd Pickett will talk your socks off and make you a believer and a follower in 60 seconds! He and the Dumante team are wonderful and producing an amazing product that is hard to ignore especially if you love PISTACHIOS!!! YUM!!! http://dumante.com

Republic Distributors have been phenomenal and I cannot express how much we appreciate them. They work hard and believe in so many of our locally owned restaurants in Louisville... I don't think I can say enough!!! If you run into Karen Shane tell her to enjoy her vacation, she deserves it!!!

River City Distributors went above and beyond. They provided our tents to shade us from the unforgiving sun. DRINK PERONI BEER! (Shameless promotion) And a special thanks to Garrett who set up the tents. He works an extreme amount of hours and unforgiving long days!

Justin & Kristin Gilberto and their fantastic Gelato!!! WOW! Gelato Gilberto resides in Norton Commons, you need to visit them and taste their amazing, creamy delights!!!!

Carly Johnson you are a songbird!!! Carly provided the wonderful entertainment with her amazing voice... jazz won't be the same from now on and Amy Winehouse doesn't hold a candle to your incredible voice (Jeremy you better get back from touring fast or your lil' sis will take your place!)

And last but not least (another shameless promotion) to our own Chef Michael Hargrove!!! You are amazing! He not only creates a brand new dinner menu EVERY WEEK, again EVERY WEEK... he gave our guests a memorable and incredible menu for the evening! I cannot say enough thank you's to him. He works extremely long hours and stretches the imagination to COMPLETE such a diverse Italian Menu for us it keeps us (the staff) on our heels with anticipation every week for his incredible, delectable invites of such wonderful cuisine! PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE!!!

Last but not least to all of our guests. THANK YOU for your support and admiration! I am still blushing from the gratitude... We are THANKING YOU!!! and extend our Gratitude right back!!!!

Thanks to all of you for everything!

It sounds like it was a very successful. I will (if swingable) be in Louisville
just after labor day. I will have to put Primo on my list of must do things.

Maybe we could have a Justin Wilson story and quote contest. 8)

Every now and then an old show segment will pop up on PBS but it is rare. Too much fun James!
