Independent pizza place near Iroquois Park

by Carla G » Sun Sep 19, 2010 8:38 am

I'm not real familiar with this area. I'm looking for an independent pizza place in the area of Viet Nam Kitchen. Anybody know of any? Need it for lunch today.
Thanks

That looks to be a bit far from what I need. I'm looking for something east of the park, say around Watterson Exp/3rd St exit. Thanks for the suggestion however.

Yep, Windy City is THE answer to this question. Great Chicago-style "casserole" and thin-crust pie too, and very nice people who turn back a share of their proceeds into the community.

I was very excited about Windy City but alas, closed on Sunday. I won't even tell you what we had to resort to.

That stinks that you didn't get to try Windy City. I had them for the first time Friday night (my friends that live in the area had it delivered) and it was incredible.
