Brew at the Zoo review?

We didn't go this year. What was the response to the VIP? I don't remember seeing a review. Thanks

Brew at the Zoo is my favorite local event in that I drink a bunch of beer, stuff myself on food, get hammered, and then go look at gorillas.

I did not purchase a VIP ticket, but my buddy was working the section, and I think they only had 4-8 unique beers and a small spread of food that didn't look as good as what was offered to the NIPs. The lines were shorter, but I didn't find the wait for beer in the regular lines to be bad at all

We went (non-VIP ticket) and it was great. We found a nice spot to set up the camping chairs. The beer and food lines were acceptable, and as far as I could tell no vendors ran out of anything. We gorged on everything from White Castle to pork sliders to Asian dumplings, and sampled many, many beers.

I believe my favorite beer was Erie's Railbender.

That's a good beer. I enjoyed it on tap at Zeppelin Cafe. Not sure if it is still available there.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

Westport Whisky & Wine carries it in the bottle. They carry a good assortment of Erie Brewery Co. beers.
