Coconut Water

Glad you mentioned Coconut water Alanna,

I just Returned from Fancy Food show in NYC, and there was a popular company showcasing coconut water.

I gave into the idea with great skepticism, and it turned out to be a really delicious product. Very refreshing, and really good for you. Tons of Magnesium, and potassium, low in sugar and calories!

I am seriously considering bringing in for Meridian!

Anyone else ever try it? Thoughts?

Heather, I first tried coconut water at the now-closed Mambo Cuban restaurant...addicted from the first sip. I looked for it in stores, but could not find it in any Kroger/Meijer/WalMart grocery. I finally found it around here at the ValuMarket and ordered it like mad. Yes, they loved bringing me my weekly grocery delivery with 15-20 cans of it each time .
However, I bought out all they had about a month ago and they have not been able to get more in...the manager told me there is a problem with the company being able to make shipments (I think it is shipped from Thailand?) so I have gone through serious withdrawal.
The manager knows what a big fan I am and called around to a couple of other places that she thought might carry it but did not have any luck. Several people have suggested I try the ethnic groceries like in Buechel and Iroquois area but I don't have a car so have not been able to hunt around for it.
I would love if someone could bring it back in the market!

It's inside the nut drill it first, shake it out. Coconut milk is something else I believe the squeezing of the white flesh of the coconut. Not sure, but the clear water is Nectar of the Gods.
