Thanks, Doug! Oh, and oops, it was in the Voice-Tribune, and they're not online. I need to cross-post it here.

Wife, Son and I wandered over to Big Ben last weekend. Sticking to just discussing the food we really enjoyed the Boddington fish and chips. Great batter with the malty flavor, ample portion and it was cooked correctly. Really good chips, as well. Duncan thought it was odd to have so much invested in the electronic menu boards. My only complaint with those were that they tended to change as you were halfway through reading them. Thankfully, the fish and chips monitor never did! As a tartar sauce freak, I thought it was really good as well. Not overpowered with dill flavor and a very good consistency. We will be back for the fish. The only other dish we tried to order was the pot pie, they didn't have any that day.

This seems to be an ongoing problem there. We've been three times, and every time, one of our first choices was 86d. I don't think it was just a matter of running out, either, as at least one time it was early in the lunch hour. It seems more as if they are not always prepared to make everything on the menu.

They also advertise free wifi, but it requires a password, and so far no one has ever been able to tell us how to use it.
