Wow!
Surprized by the lack of independents. The economy perhaps?

This may explain why they haven't come to HotBytes asking for PSA support. Odd.

Yeah, I've never seen "confuse the consumer" in a marketing strategy.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.

I dunno....seems like a lot of "locals" are represented on this list of participants.

I'm proud to announce that the ACF/KY Chapter has a support role in this event.
We are here to help out in any way we can!

Stop by our booth and see what the ACF/KY Chapter is up to these days.

There are quite a few independents participating. We haven't been all over hotbytes due to some sponsorship relationships. This is the 37th annual Taste, and it's always in September/October. Remember, the other events are newer - they chose their dates while ours has been fairly consistent. It's a fantastic event that many, many volunteers work on!

Maybe you should fill me in about that, Stacy. Privately, if you prefer. If "sponsorship relationships" kept you from taking advantage of the publication with the largest food-related circulation in the metro, someone is shooting the beneficiary organization in the back, and I'd like to get the information so we can do what needs to be done to keep that from happening in the future.

We have had a relationship with Louisville Magazine and CBS Outdoors for years as our large sponsors. They don't require that we stay out of other media, but out of respect for those relationships we tread lightly in other outlets. Community Health Charities is free to publicize as they see fit.

Thanks Caroline! It was very successful - thank you to all who participated, purchased tickets and volunteered. Great turnout and a lot of fun tie-ins to the James Bond theme. Try to check out the poster at the Comfy Cow when you visit there next, it's hilarious!

The ACF really helped us and had a great presence - thanks to Dan Thomas, Bret Donaldson, Bill & Rob. Many thanks to Community Health Charities volunteers!
