Boombozz rolls out multigrain pie with free pizza offer

by Robin Garr » Fri Sep 03, 2010 2:34 pm

PRESS RELEASE:

Boombozz Famous Pizza has introduced a pizza crust made from whole-grains.

The company, known for its use of healthier ingredients like olive oil and fresh cuts of meats and cheeses, developed the crust to fill consumer demand for whole grain products without sacrificing the flavor, texture and other positive attributes associated with an authentic pizzeria-style pizza.

"We are deeply committed to providing consumers with healthy alternatives, because, as a company Boombozz recognizes the importance people place on maintaining a healthy and nutritious diet," said Tony Palombino, Founder/CEO. "Our top priority is to continually improve the healthy aspects of all our products, and the introduction of the Multi-grain crust is in keeping with this goal."

Palombino said that throughout the testing process Boombozz's product development team was charged with the difficult task of introducing a health-enhanced product that qualified as a low-fat food, a saturated fat-free food and a cholesterol-free food that has zero grams of trans fat per serving. "We're proud of all of our product innovations, and believe consumers will be pleased with this healthier alternative."

To celebrate the launch of the new crust, Boombozz will offer a “Free Multigrain Pizza” the week beginning Monday, Sept. 6, by randomly announcing a time a date on the LouisvilleHotBytes forum and on its Twitter and Facebook fan pages. The first 50 fans to arrive at the specific time and date will receive a “Free Multigrain Pizza” certificate.
