Check out http://blazebbq.com/ for a new fast-service bbq concept.

Then, click on "contact" to see who is introducing it!

I think this is one of those dual outlet buildings. One restaurant on one side, another on the other side. I've been to this shopping center before. Can't remember what was beside White Castle. May be KFC or some such. Regardless, the menu seems very ambitious.

Actually YUM has many dual restaurants with various combinations of their restaurants.

More news on this: White Castle is testing THREE concepts - barbecue, sandwiches and Asian noodles - which would be "co-located" within existing WCs alongside the burger shop.

Here's the scoop from Nation's Restaurant News:

White Castle testing other concepts
Chain co-locating new venues with existing stores
September 1, 2010 | By Bret Thorn

White Castle System Inc. is experimenting with three new restaurant concepts -- covering barbeque, sandwiches and noodles -- that are co-located within existing units.

White Castle did not returns calls about the new concepts, but an area manager said the company had opened the restaurants softly starting in June, with grand openings four weeks later.

Area manager Shawna Jones, speaking from a restaurant in Lafayette, Ind., said White Castle planned to test the new concepts for a year before deciding if and how to expand them.

I'm one of the people who swim against the current and believe White Castle is vile. Speaking of YUM, I DO like having Lohn John Silvers and A&W side by side. But not for food reasons, per se. They have A&W Rootbeer on a tap.

Holy nutritional nightmare, Batman....

http://thelaughingnoodle.com/menu

Check out the nutrition info from the link on the lower left of the page....

The Teriyaki Chicken bowl is the least lethal, coming in at 920 calories for the full bowl. "Only" 24 grams of fat, and 3320mg of sodium.
