Gluten - Free Beer / Daura

by Alan H » Tue Aug 31, 2010 10:28 am

A rep from Heidelberg Distributing of NKY was in pitching this to me yesterday.

We receive several requests a week for gluten - free suggestions on our menu and am wondering if anybody else out there has looked at this product or has seen anything else comparable ?

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

I haven't had that one. The one that has been best received at the Public House is Bard's Tale. I've tasted a few others and have found that the ones imitating light golden lager (Daura would be one) and Bard's need to be served fairly cold. They're beer-like, but as they warm, less so.
