PR: Bourbon menu for Bourbon Heritage Month at The Brown

In honor of National Bourbon Heritage Month, The Brown Hotel plans a special menu showcasing Kentucky's native potion.

The following menu, which consists of appetizers paired with cocktails made with Kentucky bourbon, will be available daily throughout September from 4-10 p.m. at the hotel's lobby bar.

Appetizers:

Wild mushroom and fresh pea gnocchi
Four Roses Bourbon sauce

Pan-seared pot stickers
Jim Beam Black soy sauce

Beef Skewers
Woodford Reserve Bourbon with corn veal reduction

Cocktails:

The Stiletto
Served on the rocks with Amaretto, Four Roses Bourbon and lemon juice

The Southern Belle
Served on the rocks with Jim Beam Black, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine and a splash of Sprite

The Woodford Ruby
Served straight up with Woodford Reserve, Merlot, simple syrup and lemon juice
