Well, since he walked up to us and told us and showed us the bar menu, I would say it is definitely happening! I think that's a terrific way to build the bar biz and it's such a nice bar with plenty of tables on the sides.

Oh my! I can hardly wait for 2 dollar pint night!

I re-read my reply and it seemed smart alecky. I didn't mean it to be. It just sounded to good to be true. Lots of places only do 1/2 price one night a week and some places require an entree purchase to get the deal. Thanks for the heads up, It's a great place and it's just down the street from me.

He was stating higher libation prices but half off might tempt him.

Forumites looking for a weekend bargain should know that Cafe Emilie has their new wine list at half price on Fri and Sat nites.

This was confirmed in the Courier today. The special at Volare will run through the first of the year.

We had a large group at the bar on Tuesday night, and took advantage of the half priced bottles- it was great because we could try a few different types because of the cost.

It's now going to be way too tempting to sneak up to Volare for some vino with my girlfriends now! We have no excuse...
