Lunch Today

by Kris Billiter » Fri Jul 27, 2007 2:27 pm

OK, so I went for lunch today. Once again, unbelievable. We had the hummus, the shrimp in oil and garlic, the sweet potato fries, and the queso fundido! It was all so good. It was the first time my wife had been and she loved it! We topped it all off with the churros con chocolate. That is an amazing dessert! Thank you Christina so much for your kind hospitality. You all are doing an amazing job over there. Now I just need to bring my wife for dinner so she can have the paella. Is there an "off" night or time when the crowds aren't just crazy?

Lunch is the best time to go to Mojitos and Havana Rumba. The crew at HR is doing a great job, as well.

I'm a little late to this party, but I want to add my two cents.
I finally was able to get to Mojito this Sun. and it was everything you all promised.
What a great buffet! I loved the salads, especially the muscatel dressing (which we used as a chutney), and the Chicken Asado.
In the hour and a half I was there They must have brought out three stuffed pork roasts. I hope they are making money on this buffet so that it stays part of the Louisville scene.
I can't wait to try dinner there soon.
A really fine job, Fernando- so glad I got the chance to meet you.

I'm DYING to get to Mojito...we were going to go to brunch on July 29th (my birthday) but, alas, my hubby was sick, and we couldn't go.
