Pest Control

Would anyone have a recommendation on a reliable pest control firm. The Yellow Pages have several pages devoted to this type of service and that's just fine. But experience has taught me that trying to find the right supplier, if you would, can be a lengthy process and my problem needs help ASAP. So, who do we like. I all ready know who I don't.

When we bought our house in Crescent Hill some years ago, we inherited a contract with A-1 Pest Control, 110 Daventry Lane, 339-1234. I can't testify to their removal or prevention, as all we've needed has been annual termite inspections, but it seems to be working ... we've never seen a termite. They've been invariably courteous and professional.

I've always used OPC Okolona Pest Control. They are very thorough and fairly reasonable.

We used OPC at our home and were very happy. They easily beat some of the bigger places prices by several hundred dollars and came back for free if there were any problems during the year besides routine spraying.

I refer several dozen clients a year to them. Just used them today actually to do a termite inspection!

I have used OPC over the years with mixed results, usually good, but occasionally contingent upon who you does your service.

That said we still use them today with confidence.
