Fire at Kashmir

An Indian restaurant on Bardstown Road was damaged overnight when a small fire broke out in an upstairs storage area.

About 1:20 a.m., Louisville firefighters were called to Kashmir, 1825 Bardstown Road, on a report of a fire, said Sgt. Sal Melendez, a department spokesman.

Sounds like the damage wasn't too bad.

It might be recalled that not long after Kashmir's original opening it suffered a major fire that closed it for months.

Hopefully this isn't going to cause any short term problems beyond basic cleanup, as Kashmir has been the place that I've used to introduce a few of the coworkers to the world of "not fast food" for lunch. We still try to get up there once a week.

Hopefully their "C" rating burned also. Last time I saw that I on their door, I went over to Ramsis instead.

KASHLMIR INDIAN RESTAURANT 1285 BARDSTOWN ROAD 6/2/2010 100 B
KASHLMIR INDIAN RESTAURANT 1285 BARDSTOWN ROAD 5/25/2010 67 C

Sounds like they had something not stored or their dishwasher wasn't working right...Inspectors hate those things...maybe even points off for everything not off the floor.

How do you receive a "B" with a 100 score? Is it a function of the c?
