Baxter Station wins international Whisky Magazine honor

by Robin Garr » Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:44 pm

This is great! Whisky Magazine (www.whiskymag.com) has named Louisville's own Baxter Station a Gold award in the magazine's Whisky Bars of the World program. Presented in association with The Macallan, the award recognizes Baxter Station for "outstanding presentation, promotion and knowledge of great whiskies from around the world," said Rob Allanson, editor.

Baxter was one of only three U.S. bars receiving the gold award, its proprietor Andrew Hutto said. Congrats to Baxter Station, one of my favorite neighborhood eateries and watering holes. :)

They do have a great selection there. I love the fact that they have Ancient Ancient Age 10 Year. It's a solid value priced bourbon.
