I thought locals like Comfy Cow, Conez and Coneyz and Graeter's stack up pretty well by these standards. Or maybe I'm just a spendthrift ... but I've never really been troubled by premium prices for quality ice cream.

I'm so the opposite anymore. I think about every penny that you squeeze out my my balled up fist So when I fork over $3.50 for a scoop of ice cream, it better be damn good.
