Welcome to the Louisville Restaurants Forum, a civil place for the intelligent discussion of the local restaurant scene and just about any other topic related to food and drink in and around Louisville.
Stopped by the Coach Lamp today for lunch and it was fabulous. Creole, red beans and rice, and bread pudding were all great. The lunch menu is abbreviated compared to the dinner options, but there are still plenty of great things to choose from. It was a bit empty considering the caliber of dishes they are serving up. Please stray off the beaten path and give this gem a try (or another if you have already been).

On Vine between Breck and Broadway, just up the hill from The Cafe. Nice place, with an ex-New Orleans chef and a Cajun-Creole vibe, in a neat, historic old building long known mostly for its saloon.
Huh, I had lunch at Coachlamp on friday with mom and one of her friends. The catfish poboy, gumbo and tuna stuffed tomato something that we had were all quite good.
