I thought that you guys might like this and some of you might want to compete. It's fo a good cause too. The neighborhood is really working hard to improve itself and Michele and the gang noticed how the neighbors have come together and wants to help......

Michele's on Goss & the Goss Ave. Antique Mall are sponsoring the First Annual Germantown Schnitzelburg BBQ & Music Festival to benefit the Go Green Germantown Schnitzelburg Project.

We are looking for 15 amateur grilling teams to compete in 3 divisions.

• Pork Spare Ribs
• Chicken
• Open Grill (any dish pork or chicken)

The Event will take place Saturday September 18 on the back grounds of the antique mall. Cut-off for registration is September 12 @ 6: oo pm.

You must compete in all 3 divisions to qualify for the Grand Champions Prize Which will be a 3night/4day + airfare to Las Vegas.

We would also like to invite any vendors that want to sell their arts and crafts please contact us also.

There will also be a kid’s play area with inflatables, face painting, and a playground.

Cost for competitors & vendors will be $50.00 for a 10x10 space. Admission for the day will be $3.00 per person. Children under 6 free. All registration, admission and vendor fees will go directly to Go Green.

Also for the music part of the day we need bands that want some great food cold beverages that want to donate their time and talents please get a hold of us.

So contact Phil Hess or Michele Brinke at 502-409-5909 to register or rent a space.

I think they also need a few more bands, sponsors for the festival shirt, and artists to rent booth space. Just call the number for info.

Pass this on if you can and I really appreciate everything that you foodies have done for me. You rock!
