El Rumbon Cuban Trailer Sighting

by Barbara A » Tue Jul 27, 2010 6:13 pm

Steve and I were out gallivanting across the country side this afternoon. We had already made dinner plans for the evening when it all went out the window. We were at a stop light which placed us directly in front of Reinold Febles El Rumbon Cuban Trailer. A two second look and a five second discussion had us taking a right turn into the parking lot of Oxmoor Mazda.

Steve had the roast pork with mojo and Cuban rice. Reinold rattled off a list of ingredients as long as his arm that went into the rice. I had a marinated pork sandwich with french fries and a special sauce that tasted like a garlic aolie. It was light and creamy and made my eyes roll back into my head.

In short El Rumbon will be on the west side of the Oxmoor Mazda parking lot for the next two weeks and then his plan is to move to the east side of the same parking lot for another two weeks/ fifteen days on or about August tenth. It sounds like he will be moving around to the various Oxmoor dealerships for a while. Go enjoy!

So now we have to cook off the chicken in the fridge and it will seem bland.

According to an ad in last week's Leo, the El Rumbon trailer will be at something called the "world's second most awesome art market" (really?!) this weekend, April 1, 2, 3 2011 at the Glassworks building on Market St.
