Once again, Consumers Choice Coffee is releasing one of our new Estate coffees and I am looking for some real coffee snobs to let me know what you think about it. I am looking for 5 tasters and I will send to your home or office a 12 oz. bag of this coffee ground. ( Sorry, at this time no whole bean). I really want to be fair about this, because the last tasting I got swamped with eager coffee enthusiasts. So the first 5 people that PM me on Sunday, August 1st at 12 noon will be the tasters. I feel that this way everyone will have a chance. All I request is that you write a short review of the coffee and post it here. That's all, no other obligations.
Here's some background on the coffee;
HONDURAS FINCA LA MONTANITA
High in the 5,000 foot mountains of South Central Honduras, in the Francisco Morazan area near Tegucigalpa, grow the exquisite coffees of Finca La Montanita. The farm dates back to the last century and the road leading to the plantation, winding through the shaded areas of tall manicured Pacas. Produced from the region's rich soil with meticulous care, only the best red cherries are selected. A carefully controlled fermentation process followed by a mountain-water wash purifies the coffee. Then controlled sun and raised bed drying gives it the final touch. The result is outstanding--exceptional natural fruity and sweet aromas with balanced body and acidity, enhanced by delicious notes of fruit and plum in the cup.
I hope all will enjoy it.
