Selling A.J.'s

by Alison Hanover » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:54 pm

Robin please move this if you want to. After much deliberation I have decided to sell A.J.'s. I really need to be in England with my Mother during her last months. I have it listed on Craigs List and have two people interested. It is also listed with Century 21. If anyone you know is interested please get them to contact me on 812-951-1715. I am asking $135,000 everything stays. After I return to the States we intend to open an A.J.'s Gyros To Go in Corydon concentrating on the Greek items only. Thank you.

Leave it up, Allison, and feel free to double-post in the Restaurant Biz forum as well. If we can help you through this patch, I'll be happy ... and we'll look forward to welcoming your return to Corydon in the future. :)

Alison-
Sorry about your Mum, but it seems you are doing the right thing in this case.
NJ and I will be sure to visit you when you get your feet back on the ground in Harrison County. That said, I'd prolly be quite secretive about my future plans so as to minimize any incentive for the buyer to insert overly protective non-compete clauses in the sales agreement.
Best to you and your family during these difficult times.

Actually, Bill, the people that came to look at it, I told them upfront that I would prefer them not to continue witht he gyros as it is my niche, and I wanted to continue to do them. They seemed ok with that, I pointed out all the things they could do that I don't ie fried chicken bbq.
