University of Louisville Head Football Coach Charlie Strong
July 20, 2010 – The University of Louisville’s Head Football Coach, Charlie Strong, will be making an appearance on Monday, July 26th at Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse in Westport Village in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training (TNT) program. In return, participants help in the fight against leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma by raising funds to support blood cancer research, education and services for patients and their families.
Since Team In Training began in 1988, more than 420,000 participants have raised more than $1 billion to fund research, to find cures and better therapies, and provide information and support to patients and their families.
The event will be taking place from 5-8 pm with an appearance by Charlie Strong from 6-7 pm. A $15 donation at the door includes all you can eat pizza and non-alcoholic beverages.
