Castelvetrano olives

by Sarita C » Mon Jul 19, 2010 4:11 pm

Shopping at Kroger in the Highlands yesterday I picked up some odd looking olives from their olive bar.
They were bright green, really buttery and mild (and had pits). I went back today to get some more and they were all sold out. I think they are Castelvetrano olives. Has anyone else seen them in town?

Hope all is well with everyone.

Best,
Sarita

Whole Foods. They are delicous! Buttery is the way I describe them. I can eat them by the bowl full, though it isn't healthy.

Thanks Trish! I only purchased a few of them the other day and then was kicking myself when they were out.
