Cokos Lokos is now participating with Take Out Taxi

by Terri Beam » Thu Jul 15, 2010 12:57 pm

I work from home and many days I just don't want to leave my house for lunch, so I've come to use Take Out Taxi at least once every couple of weeks.

I know Cocos Lokos is quite popular in this forum, so I was happy to see it has been added to the roster of participating restaurants for TOT.

In the past, I've ordered TOT from Bazo's, Home Run Burgers, California Pizza Kitchen, Yang Kee Noodle, and Asian Moon. I must say Asian Moon's food holds up very well to the commute.

I'd LOVE to see more indies sign on with TOT.

So now I'm torn. Do I want Bazo's or Cocos Lokos? :?:

Takeout Taxi is the fastest way to turn a $10 lunch into a $20 lunch I've ever seen.

True, but I live in Fern Creek. My options for a decent lunch out that can be done in under an hour are limited. I'm willing to pay for the convenience.

Would I do it more than once a week or every 2 weeks? No, but I appreciate the service they provide.

It also provides income for the drivers, so it's good for the economy. Not many restaurants are going to be interested in setting up their own delivery service, and 99% of the home delivery options in this area involve pizza (and not good pizza. Bearno's is the only independent, and I'm not a fan of the cracker crust). :x What I would give for a Pasquali's stromboli right now... **sniffs sadly and goes back to work**

p.s. I went with Bazo's.

I wasn't knocking on you; just couldn't believe how expensive it is.
