Winston’s Celebrates Summer With Heirloom Tomato Dinners
Dining Events Showcasing the Tomato Harvest to Take Place August 6, 7, 13 and 14
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 13, 2010) ---Continuing his yearly tradition of celebrating the tomato harvest, chef John Castro of Winston’s restaurant will present four heirloom tomato dinners during the first two weekends of August. Featuring a variety of tomatoes from local producers, each seven-course dinner will include a tasting and discussion of “naked” tomatoes. The dinners take place on August 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 6:30 p.m. The price is $75 per person, or $100 with wine pairings. For reservations, call (502) 456-0980.
