Williamsburg, VA and Outer Banks

We are heading out soon to spend 3 days in Williamsburg and 4 days in the Outer Banks (Kill Devil Hills), NC. This may not be the place to ask, but does anyone have suggestions where a family (2 adults and 2 teen girls) can get a reasonable and memorable meal?

We've never been either place so any ideas are very appreciated!

I have been going to the Outer Banks for four decades. Our current favorite place is The Blue Point in the Waterfront Shops in Duck. The BP has inside and outside dining and is on the edge of Currituck Sound.
The food is outstanding and the wine selection is the best we have found on the OBX. There is a large exposed kitchen and a bar that one can dine at. They are child friendly with outside picnic tables on a grass lawn overlooking the sound. Pictures, menus and wine list are available at their web page. We expect to be there frequently at the start of the low season in September.
