Congratulations to Anthony Lamas and his "kitchen boys" for a job well done at James Beard Foundation event!

I know that they should be back by now, and hope they had much success and fun in NYC!

Your menu looked and sounds delicioso and hope to get to Seviche soon to enjoy a recreation!

Compared to most of the chef's on the list for July... your flavors really stood out, I will call ahead. Tell "Mike"? I said Hello.

Amiga,

Thanks Looi! What a small world, first I run into Heather Y. in NYC, from Meridian Cafe and then one of your friends, from a dinner you did at the Beard House. I think he was there doing another dinner the night before mine. It was a Singapore dinner. Chef said to say hello. I think I met him before, when he was maybe here with you. I think he's from Malaysia too. Looi hope your having fun with that cute baby girl of yours. She looks just like you. Take care buddy! Muchas gracias y buen provecho. P.S I'd like to invite you and your wife to come for my recreation on July 25th. It's on me!

Hi buddy:

Thank you very much for the generous invitation and I will check with wifey about the baby sitting situation. The dinner for the 'Taste of Singapore' was similar to the 'Taste of Malaysia' which I helped coordinated a few years back. And the Singaporean friend you saw there has been to your place. He's one of the 'talent scout' and volunteer for JDF.
