This from the Slow Foods Newsletter (received by email yesterday): Mark Williams of Bourbon Street Cafe is scheduled to participate on March 24. No details beyond the generic info below.

March of the Chefs – March 2007

At Terra Madre 2006, chefs from across America were unanimous in their support for the most ambitious American event in Slow Food’s history: Slow Food Nation, a festival to promote and reinvigorate America’s diverse food traditions. Now, that support is taking form in March of the Chefs, a month-long celebration at restaurants across the nation.

Throughout March, chefs who attended Terra Madre will be hosting a special evening at their restaurant to toast sustainability, fete artisanal products, and bring Slow Food’s vision of conviviality and joy in food to a new audience. The dinners will feature local, traditional products, and will be an opportunity for chefs to share their personal Terra Madre experience with local communities. To reserve your place at a March of the Chefs dinner, please get in touch with any of the participating restaurants listed below.
