Ummmmm...silly putty!

Reminds me of a piece I wrote a few years back about the origin of White Castle chicken rings.

Click and page down to the rings section. Be sure to read what's in the gray box.

If you don't want dimethylglyoxime in your body, stop drinking wine and beer. It's used regularly as an anti-foaming/frothing agent in wine making and is added to kegged beer for the same purpose.

You'll also find it in chewing gum, molasses, soups, syrups, soft drinks and skimmed milk. As well as in most cosmetics and lotions. Along with paint, silly putty and other nasty stuff.

I used to work for a company that made it, along with a lot of other additives and enhancers.

Just because it's used in making nasty stuff doesn't make it inedible. Corn is used to make ink, latex paint, spark plugs, disposable diapers, asbestos insulation and some REALLY offensive whiskey. All things you shouldn't ingest.

IMO, the "chicken" is the nastiest part of a McNugget or the infamous "Chicken Ring"... which I call chicken ***holes.

I mean, where else would you get a chicken "ring"?? :D
