Dinner for 30

by Brian C B » Tue Jul 10, 2007 11:28 am

Anyone have any thoughts on a good place to have a large dinner? A private room would be preferred, but I realize that may be tough to do. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Brian! We would love to have you here in glamorous downtown New Albany. I have a private room that you can have with no room charge and will construct a custom 3/4/5 course meal for your event. If you are interested, feel free to e-mail me at bistrona@sbcglobal.net or visit us online at http://www.newalbanybistro.com Thanks-Dave

Downtown ...Saffrons has a great private room. Absolute best small room in the city. Believe it can handle 30 people. Super food and service.

East end ... J Harrods. Good enough to host a UPS/Airbus function that included party favors, replicas of glass (few hundred dollars apiece) Airbus planes that UPS was buying. Got to look, but not touch.

Various Bristols and many other nice places. But the above two always work.

Old Stone Inn would be a great spot-not sure of the date of the dinner but the patio would be perfect if the weather is not too hot?

Corner Cafe', at Whipp's Mill and New LaGrange, has a pretty big private room and offers various pre-set menus, buffet style dinners, and 'off the menu' ordering for parties up to 50 people.

Thanks guys, keep them coming.

David,

Thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid we will likely need to stick to either Bardstown Rd or somewhere on the east end.

I'll second Corner Cafe. I've eaten there several times with large parties & it worked out really well--great food, great service--never as many as 30, but easily half that size.

Yes, Bristo NA is right off the bridge when you cross in to NA, just like a few minutes from downtown. Plus you'd have five or so craft beers from NABC to choose from, that would be a plus for me
