The local U-PICK blueberry place opened this week. Must get up early one day this week and load up on some berries.

We picked 19 pounds on Saturday. Now 2 pies, 2 dozen scones, 12 jars of blueberry lime jam, 7 jars of syrup, 4 jars of blueberry butter, and 2 freezer bags full of berries later - I can honestly say I am tired of blueberries.

We had a great time. The blueberries are huge and delicious.

Well we made it over to Bryant's this morning and picked 8lbs. of luscious blueberries before it got too warm. A Blueberry Sour Cream Cake (new recipe from the farm's website) is in the oven. Life is good!

Wish they were open on Monday! My dad will be in town and was wanting to go there and I know I won't have time to go tomorrow. Are there any other berry farms in the area? We'll need something else to do now...
