Honig dinner at Volare cancelled

Napa Valley wine producer Michael Honig will be guest speaker at a wine dinner being held Tuesday, July 13 at Volare, 2300 Frankfort Ave., 894-4446.

The dinner will be $75 per person and include four courses paired with Honig’s Napa Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Sauvignon Blanc Reserve, Napa Cabernet and Napa Cabernet Reserve. A fifth course, most likely desert, will be served on its own.

Our reservations have been made since mid-June. I just called to double check the time. Guess what? The dinner has been canceled! No call, nothing. This isn't the way that Volare usually runs. Guess I'll be off to Equus to check out Dallas' new post.

This post confused me so much with the dates - thought I was reading that Robin's original post was on the 14th, followed by Gayle's onthe 13th, then I realized TODAY was the 13th and the 14th hasn't happened yet... Then I noticed Robin put this up on the 14th of the other four letter month that begins the Ju. Whew.
