hood exhaust systems

Robin, please feel free to move this if it is in the wrong place. After I had my Hood system cleaned at the start of the season, I was told the fan on the roof is not working properly. Anyone know of a company that works on these?

Just be careful they don't try to replace the whole system unless absolutely necessary. My Fan started slipping and I had a mechanic kind of guy, put new bearings in and screw in in. It is all a mystery to me, but I do know there are a couple of belts that can go bad. Be careful, the whole fan system can cost a fortune to replace, or at least the quotes I got were. Good luck. The brother of the lady who works for me is pretty handy. He is going to come and look at it. One company wanted $300 to come out and look at it. I told them no thank you.
