Reminds me of Manhattan's vending machine restaurant, though it appears to be no longer in business.

I'll bet someone something nice that this is gonna be HUGE in another couple of years. Convenience stores didn't get to be such money makers by letting things like this go unnoticed.

Hey !!! Maybe I've found my second career...Meat vending delivery boy. :?

Actually it looks like they are making a comeback in NYC as well as some other places, here's a couple links I found: http://bamnfood.com/ and http://www.theautomat.com/.
It will be interesting to see how they do.

I was just reading their menu, and couldn't help but laugh at the nyc corn dog... quote "Corn dog are an excellent source of calories, fat, cholesterol, and salt."

One of the delights of being a 6 year old in New York City was accompanying my Grandfather on the subway ride from Brooklyn to Manhattan and having lunch at Horn and Hardart. It was a special treat then and a cherished memory now..

You've gotta go to Japan to appreciate vending machines. Hot or cold coffee. Decent soup. And of course, plentiful variety of beer....only problem is they sell out of beer on New Year's Eve...
