Do you by chance know if Chef Ramon Forcelledo is new to the downtown Bristol or how long he's been there?

Jay, I'm not sure how long, but he's hardly new and has been there for at least several years. If Scott is looking on, I'm sure he can give us chapter and verse, but the short answer is "not new."

Ramon has been our Chef since the New Downtown Bristol opened. He was the Chef of the Old Bristol Downtown before as well. He recently has had his oil changed, a new coat of paint and a tune up which makes him appear & feel new! :D

Boy howdy, I hope this is successful. I think/hope Spanish/Latino influenced food is exploding in Louisville. Thanks to Anthony Lamas, Fernando Martinez, Bruce Ucan and of course the legendary Maggie and Miguel. Not to mention Pete Chamberlain/Lourdes Fronteras and many, many others.

May also be noted that Chef Ramon had his own Spanish restaurant years ago. To bad that it was not successful. Few ethnic restaurants at the time and probably a bad location. He is more than competent in Spanish food.
