Farmers' Markets

by Matthew D » Tue Jun 08, 2010 9:03 pm

Having been preoccupied with everything but farmers' markets lately, I'm a little foggy on the good ones.

I know there is Phoenix Hill on Tuesday, Bardstown on Saturday, and St. Matthews on Saturday. Any other "in-city" ones I should know about? I've found some online listings, but a listing is much different than a "review." What I'm looking for are the ones worth going to on specific weekdays.
Thanks.

[You know what will get you thinking about farmers' markets? Eating a fruit salad/bowl with almost-but-not-really fresh, store-bought fruit. So close to being satisfying, yet oh so far away. All I wanted was strawberry "juice" to run down my chin. Is that much to ask?]
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.
