This is about purchased food and drink, so it's okay in the main forum - I'm moving it over where it might catch a few more eyeballs.

One of the few decent ones available is Clausthaler. It actually tastes like a German lager instead of colored water. Kaliber is not bad as well.

If they are a domestic beer drinker, you have O'doul's (AB), Sharps (Miller), Coors NA (Coors), Busch NA (AB) and Old Milwaukee (probably the best of the domestic bunch) readily available.

I know they like Kaliber, but didn't know what else was out there. Thanks for the responses!

If you can get hold of it, Erdinger Alcohol free wheat beer. The only alc-free beer I can stomach. It actually has better isotonic properties than gatorade so good for Summer or after sports.

Kaliber is my fave out of the NA beers you can usually find.

Great list of root beers, though I was sad to see Abita brewery's root beer was absent. Sweet and delicious, great on tap (find it at Patrick O'Shea's) or in the bottle. On the other hand Sioux City sasparilla made me laugh out loud.

"You got any good sasparilla?"
"We got Sioux City sasparilla..."
"Yeah, that's a good one."
You put your two cents in, but you only get a penny for your thoughts... Somebody's making a penny.

Clausthaler and Bitburger are tolerable. Some day, there'll be a non-alcoholic Imperial Stout, and I will not drink it.

Yeah I enjoy Abita, it's a strong second to Bulldog for me. I wish Sprecher didnt use HFCS.
